Help us keep the bottom of Oyster Bay Harbor where nature intended it to be – on the bottom of Oyster Bay Harbor.

Let’s force the hydraulic shellfish dredgers to comply with Federal laws like the rest of us do. It is time they apply for the permits they do not have, and let the experts determine what their impact is on our environment.

Contact the following people and demand they enforce Federal dredging laws in Oyster Bay Harbor – demand an independent environmental impact study be performed on all of Oyster Bay Harbor, to find out what affects Hydraulic Shellfish Dredging has had, and continues to have, on the harbor’s environment, on its wildlife, on its plant life and ecosystems.  This is your right, this is nature’s right, this is the environment’s right:

The majority of Oyster Bay Baymen articles are written by Eric Gulbransen. Eric is an environmental advocate, a filmmaker, and a supporter of the Baymen and their cause to end hydraulic shellfish dredging in Oyster Bay Harbor.

  1. One has to wonder what sorts of payoffs and kickbacks Supervisor Saladino is getting to ignore the lack of permits.
No way a Supervisor is so unbelievably ill-informed and/or incompetent so as to be unaware that they have no permits.
    Not even surprised.
    Disgusted… but not surprised.

  2. You said it Constance, not me. I’m already expecting a dead horse head in my bed tonight…

Racing is so much easier. Your enemies do wear armor, but they’re right out there in the open
